Review content:
My wife and I have been to Lorenzo's four times and have enjoyed ourselves each time. It is a very warm and comfortable atmosphere that is not overly loud and boisterous. My wife loves the bellinis which are peach or apricot sauce mixed with champagne. I take the chance to order a very nice Itailian beer called Peroni which is similar to a nice pilsner with a little more bite to it. The bread and oil is fantastic and I like the fact they freshly grate the cheese and put a little cracked black pepper in the mix. If you want pasta, this place has some of the best pasta combinations I have ever seen. The Gorgonzola pasta is the best pasta I have ever had and the portion size is usually for two or more. What really sets this place apart from a lot of other Italian restaurants is the fact that they are a steakhouse as well. My wife had the filet and I had the New York Strip and they were both amazing. They were tender and exactly cooked to our specifications. The tirmasu is also very good. The service gets a little lazy now and then, but not enough to say that it is bad or subpar. Overall this place is a find for poeple who love casual dining and knowing they are going to enjoy a meal where almost everything on the menu is sure to please.
Pros: Casual, Pasta, Steaks, Drinks
Cons: Service can get lazy
