Review content:
This coffee shop has free wi-fi, but only if you buy a drink. You can buy all the food you want there, but if you don't buy a drink, they will ask you to leave. Apparently, the tables are only for drinking customers, not paying eating customers.
I was at the Governors Cup on a Sunday morning and only bought something to eat. There were at least 4 empty tables on the main floor. I was told that only people who buy a drink can sit at the tables. I've never heard of such a ridiculous policy.
If the owners wants to keep people from sitting at a table for several hours, they should do what many other coffee shops do and allow 1 or 2 hours of free wi-fi with every drink or food purchase.
This place has lost my business permanently. There are plenty of other coffee shops in Salem with friendly service and reasonable policies.
Pros: Decent location
Cons: Terrible service
