I've had 6 different rheumatologists. This man is the first who used office visit time chatting about his crappy relationship with his wife and his garden. He did not believe me when I talked about having overwhelming fatigue -- one of 4 major symptoms of the disease he was supposed to be treating. He told me that, when one of his patients had to have a leg amputated, he told the patient it was his own fault. He was least expensive in the city for uninsured patients. When I got insurance, I ran to another rheumatologist.
