Review content:
As soon as I walked in the door of Carpe Diem Allen I knew I had found the preschool of my dreams! After visiting 5 very different schools I stopped by Carpe Diem on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. Thinking I would just pick up a brochure, I was warmly welcomed in by the Director and given a tour on the spot. From the lobby we entered through the locked door that requires a fingerprint to enter. Instantly I felt like my children would be safe here! It didn’t take long before I noticed how spotless the classrooms were and how happy the children were. I showed up around 9:15am and it was so peaceful, just children learning and playing. There were no children crying for their parents, or chaotic classrooms overrun with too many kids. I learned that my child would have a main classroom, but during the day would also spend time in other classrooms for fun activities such as music, spanish lessons, computer and playtime. It sounded perfect! I was also impressed with the weekly menu and relieved to learn I wouldn’t be responsible for packing a lunch (and now my daughter is a self proclaimed lover of spinach thanks to the Carpe Diem kitchen staff). And as far as I am concerned the best feature of all - the Carpe Diem webcam! I was glued to the webcam for the first few months (ok, maybe I still am)! Between the open communication with the teachers and staff, daily progress report (did I not mention they record everything from what she ate, to how long she napped, to how often she went potty, etc!) and webcam access I feel like I know everything about my child’s day! It’s almost like I’m right there with her! Other things to mention are compared to the competition, the class sizes are much smaller, and the staff turnover is less! When your child is excited to go to school, you know you have made the right choice!
