Review content:
Before I contacted the JG Tax Group, I was misled and then hounded by the IRS to pay nearly $47,000. This is what I owed from 2007 and 2008 but I didn’t have the money to pay and didn’t know what to do. I received a booklet from the IRS about an Offer in Compromise and I filled it all out the best I could and submitted it. I felt good as this is what many firms promote on TV and radio, “settle for pennies on the dollar.” Little did I know that is far from being practical, and those companies are mostly a scam. I was naive and should have researched their reviews/complaints a little better. Anyway, a few months later, I got a denial letter from the IRS meanwhile they kept charging me interest. Two weeks after that, my bank account was levied. That’s when I called JG Tax Group. They gave me a free consultation and thoroughly explained what needed to be done to address and resolve my issue. They even took time to explain the Offer in Compromise program and after hearing all about it, I would have never even attempted to submit that offer. All I did was give the IRS ammo to levy my assets. I wish I called JG earlier but fortunately they were still able to release me levy within 5 business days. Thank you all for your honesty and help!!
