I called to inquire one day about replacing the carpet on our stairs (they installed it initially). The woman who answered said it depended on how much carpet we had and suggested I talk further with one of the installers. The installer (which I later found out was the owner) called me a few times at inconvenient hours (mostly while I was driving and couldn't answer). Some other personal matters intervened and I realized I needed to measure the carpet before I could talk intelligently about how we wanted to proceed. I did not get a chance to call back untill a few weeks later. At that time I was told that I needed to take my business elsewhere. Apparently my lack of response irritated the owner. Wow. Must be nice to have so much business that you can dismiss not only this small job but any future business I might have (the last time we contracted for $22K). They clearly don't need my business.
