We initially hired Amore Photography and Design as our wedding photographer, as Steven Jeffs had been recommended by a friend also in the photography industry and his portfolio of wedding photos displayed quality work. The level of professionalism up to and throughout the wedding instilled trust in Amore Photography’s service and Steven Jeffs and his family seemed like honorable individuals, so when asked for the entire balance we had complete confidence in Amore Photography following through and providing quality wedding photos.
After the wedding we made selections from the photos for which we wanted prints and an album made, our photography package also included a cd of all wedding photos taken. We received an email as confirmation that Steven Jeffs had indeed received our selections and after that all communication seized. It has been several months now and my husband and I have individually emailed and called several times, without a single response. We have NO photos and no indication that Amore Photography has any intention of providing them. We essentially paid full price, with nothing to show for it and will now have to rely on photos taken by family members and friends who attended our wedding.
I would not recommend Amore Photography and would discourage anyone from hiring them. I have no doubt there are people who have had a wonderful experience with them, as they could not have stayed in business this long, but would you risk you own wedding, an event that is not re-creatable, upon a photographer that occasionally chooses not to provide photos and is unavailable and unreachable?
Pros: good photography skills
Cons: poor communication, zero photos delivered
