WORST customer experience I've ever had...bar none!! Dropped my pwc's off for some service a month ago. Received a call a few days later saying what was wrong and I gave the go-ahead to fix them. They said it would be a week to a week and half. No problem, I told them!\r
I was never informed about a diagnostic fee or that they had a severe backlog. \r
Two weeks go by and I call to see how things are going. The lady who answered told me a mechanic quit but they would be ready by the middle of the following week. I call back the end of the next week and inquire on their progress. Again i was told they were next to be worked on and that they would be ready by the middle of the next week. When I called the next time....the lady who answered got snotty when I asked why it was taking so long. She said ""well...we don't work on the weekends!"" I asked why she had told me over a week ago that they were next in line and why she kept making up fantasy completion dates. I told her I was coming in to pick up pwc's. When I get there, they demand that I pay a diagnostic fee before they would release my pwc's! I then asked to speak to the owner came out and with a smug grin said that I could call the cops but he wasn't going to waive the fee. I told him that I was never told about a diagnostic fee and that they had promised for weeks that i was next in line and that I would be able to pick them up the following week. I asked him nicely to waive the fee that I was never told about and since they had repeatedly lied to me and really inconvenienced us. To my dismay, I got the response ""I could call the cops but he wasn't going to waive the fee"" He said we have people that have been waiting since March and that I wasn't next in line or even close to next. I went on to say that the correct thing to do would have been to tell me when they initially diagnosed the pwc's that it was going to take months for me to get them back. NOT to mention, that they will hold your boat or pwc with a diagnostic ransom! It's no wonder I learned later that they lost their privilege to sell new boats, lost a court case today and have mechanics quiting!! All I can say is these people are SHADY and don't care about their customers! Save yourself the frustration and find a mechanic elsewhere!! I agree with the other poster...The owner should be ASHAMED!! The best line out of his mouth was that ""I don't care if you are satisfied....you will pay the 90 dollars and my business will be here longer than you and your waverunners!!!!"" WOWOWOW
