Although the prices are like you are eating in NYC, the food is a far cry. My friends and I have visited Jakes several times, and compared to NYC finer steak houses, it does not at all match up. \r

The main bartender ""BOB"" seems to be able to only do one thing at a time. If there is more than 5 people at the bar, Bob seems to crumble like a bad stucco job ... It may take up to 10 mins to get his attention. He seems to eat more than the starving customers. One night, I recieved my steak and it appeared a slice was missing and Bob was chewing feverishly !!!!!
