This veterinary clinic did something that I never thought I would see. We were traveling from Canada (we are snowbirds that stay in Davenport for a few months in the Winter each year) and had an emergency with our dog. We were worried he was dying from bloat/twisted stomach. He had been vomiting significantly and has a history of peritonitis and eating foreign objects. We went to the counter stating our emergency to find a terrible receptionist. She told us that the vet would not even look to see if it was an emergency. She told us that we should come back tomorrow when she had an available appointment. TOMORROW. Our dog would have died. What kind of people would do something like that? No one I would trust with our pet. We did find another clinic. The other clinic actually performed immediate emergency surgery on him. And they stayed late that night to ensure he was okay. If we had waited till the next day as the Clermont Animal Hospital South had asked... he would have died. It makes me sick thinking about it. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR ANIMALS.
