Renting a salon chair in Studio City is very expensive let alone an entire studio in a reputable salon. The only way to be able to afford it is to have a huge, loyal clientele. The only way to have a huge, loyal clientele is to be exceptional at what you do. I read the crazy review below and was blown away! First of all hair is NOT everything and if it is to you then I am so, so sorry for you. Second of all Vidal Sassoon trained hairstylists are some of the best in the world. The technique needs no improvement, it is flawless. It is timeless. I have have had three Vidal trained stylists from different generations and they are all incredible. Chess & Burman has got it right. You can walk in and go to anyone there and get an incredible cut or color. I know, I own a high end salon in Studio City and I would go to any one of the stylists at Chess & Burman I would be lucky to have any one of them working in my salon.
Pros: Convenient, Ample Parking. Highly Skilled Staff
Cons: The occasional crazy client.
