A neighbor recommended the Tucker House to me several years ago after I commented on her beautiful handbag. She told me that she loved to go there whenever she was looking for a really special gift for someone. And she told me that she always ended up finding something for herself while she was there, too. So, I had a baby shower to attend and I needed to get a gift in short notice. I thought I would stop by and I was so glad I did. They had the most beautiful baby items and most of the things I had not seen anywhere else. The baby and children's clothes are adorable and high quality while the prices are very good. They are a little expensive when it comes to some of their gift items for other occassions, but they always have very good sale prices on some things that they are phasing out. There is always new things added at the Tucker House so it is fun to just stop by and shop! I do wish they carried chilren's clothes beyond the toddler / preschool age because my daughter can no longer wear any of the sizes they carry. I highly recommend the Tucker House anytime you just want to enjoy shopping, or anytime you really want a gift that everyone at the party will be ooo'ing and aaah'ing over. And, BONUS - if you are buying a gift - they will package it beautifully for you for FREE. So, you can go right from the shop to your party if you are really in a rush! They have an email newsletter, but no website, which is a little disappointing. But, if they had a website, I don't think shopping the store and finding the new surprises would be quite as much fun!
