I lives in Kensington/Heatherwood for about 5 months and wish I never had. I would not recommend this place to the nasty insects that live there. After my apartment was broken in to by a person who ordered a movie on my tv, lets just say it wasn't on the Disney Channel. The manager did nothing. Her name is Shereca and she is a liar. She allowed me out of my lease and I paid the rent through the notice I had to give. Three months after I moved out I get a call from a collector saying I owed her money. She tried to charge me just because I gave her the keys early. I paid the rent and mine and her records show this. Shereca thought she could trick me in to paying because she can with the other residents because they don't speak English. Well sorry Shereca. I have a college education and a lawyer. I had to leave the apartment after the break in because there were drill holes in my door and people could see it. Plus on night the CSI unit was there. Management doesn't do its job here. Before you thing about living here read all the reviews and check with the Better Business. You will find several complaints against them. Its not safe to live here and Shereca is a horrible person who deserves to loose her job.
Pros: I dont live there anymore
Cons: Manager, break ins, safety. everything!
