Review content:
APPEARANCE: Looked and felt like a barely disguised re-done Mexican food restaurant. The only attempt at sophistication is the added piano, black table cloths and candles. Open main room dining concept. Folding free-standing partitions separated the foyer and bar from the main dining area. Feeble attempt at hiding the cheap conversion. \r
\r
FOOD: HORRIBLE! Soup had a hair in it. Crab cakes were too salty. Wedge salad was in a bowl and placed round side down. It was like trying to eat a ball on a balance beam. Steaks seamed to be cooked well but the garlic mashed potatoes had so much vinegar (why vinegar not sure?) in them that it made the main course intolerable.\r
\r
SERVICE: Everyone in our party was over charged after the slips were signed. Keep your receipt. CHECK YOUR BILL IN PERSON AND ON YOUR BANKING STATEMENT!! \r
\r
ENTERTAINMENT: Piano player did sing well however, he was too loud. You could not have a conversation above his voice. We were seated against the furthest wall and could not hear the guests at our table.
Pros: The water was good
Cons: Everything from food to service
