BRIDES BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\r I took my dress in for a few alterations. Should have known better when the owner (?) who pinned my dress was struggling doing it because she has one arm in a sling! I had the sides taken in, the cap sleeve made a little looser, and the hem brought up a tiny bit. She had me slip the cups in, but never checked to see if they were positioned right. That is her job right? To look at a dress and know what should be done, and to make sure everything is just how it should be?? Her job? Anyway, Went back a week later for a fitting. (This is a very simple informal wedding dress). It seemed ok, I was pretty much rushed through. I expected to take my dress home that day. But it was not ready, they had not steamed it and wanted to keep it another day. Ok fine. $135 later. Went back the next day and picked it up. Got it home and tried it on again. Only to find a 10 inch seem in the back that had not been sewn back shut. The cups were not even and the lace across the front had been stretched out and was pulling to one side. VERY NOTICABLE.\r I called and she seemed put off and told me to bring it back, but sounded like I was just a bother to her. Once I got there she told me they did not touch the seem and it must have been like that when I brought it in. I told them no, it was not. And even if it had been (which it was NOT) wouldnt they have noticed it and either fixed it or called me to ask if I wanted it fixed? Where is the attention to detail? I showed her the lace and I could see the ""uh-oh"" look on her face. But she insisted that was nothing they did. They did not touch that part. So she takes the dress out back and has the seem fixed, and says she'll steam it again. Comes back out, lace is still pulled off to the side. Now she has my dress dragging on the floor as she (one armed) struggles to try and iron the lace in the front down so it wont pull. HELLO??? Are you kidding me??? I put the dress on and I told her, clearly you can see the lace is pulled to the side. She sticks to her story and says they did not touch that to make alterations. Thus it is not their fault. I told her I understood that they did not touch it for alterations, but something was done to it while in their hands. She was totally offended and said how they handle everything perfectly and would never have done anything wrong. Clearly they did. SHe then says ""we sell $5,000 dresses here, we dont just toss things around"". It was at that moment I knew, that my classy, informal, simple dress was the least of her worries. Never once did she offer a sorry, or understanding of any kind. Never once did she seem to give one care in the world. After all, they already go their money!!! So why would they care! I was in total disbalief that she said to me ""we sell $5000 dresses here"" Shock. Total shock. She was beyond rude, and that comment was totally uncalled for. She knew she was wrong, and her only defense was to try and make herself sound better than me. I hope it worked for her, because I know better. And I will make sure that everyone else knows better. BIG BIG MISTAKE! They are rude, and make sure you hear what their policy is on how they handle these things. Basically they can turn your dress into a freakin lamp shade and there is NOTHING you can do about it. RUDE RUDE RUDE SNOBS. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!!\r \r End of story, I took my dress the way it was, and told her that my dress means more to me than any $5000 dress ever could! I will be married lace pulled to the side and all. And it will be the most beautiful day of my life!\r \r My rating would be a negative if they allowed it! Pros: NOTHING Cons: The rudest snobbiest people I have ever dealt with
