Review content:
I must admit that I was really excited for this store to open. The sign was up for months before the doors finally opened. I assume that is at least partly due to the fact that the owner had a baby about the same time she was scheduled to open the store. Unfortunately, this store didn't really live up to my expectations. I think the owners would benefit from a trip to a really successful baby boutique like Giggle (in NY and San Francisco). Giggle is my go-to store for unique items for my two girls, as well gifts for my friends kids. When I visited Baby Bugaloo, the majority of their stock was clothes, and I was hoping for a more well-rounded selection of toys and baby gear. I definitely spend more money on toys and gear then I do on clothes -- although I do spend a fair amount on clothes and shoes for both of my girls. My husband stopped in their store by himself to check it out, and he said the owner's mother made him feel very uncomfortable -- as if he shouldn?t be shopping for our kids by himself. I also thought it was weird that the owner brings her infant to the store -- I assume that won't last too long since it will be hard to have a crawling infant in a baby store. I will probably stop back in this store to see if they improve with time. I don't mean to sound too negative since I do think they have a good idea going and I hope they are able to weather the bad economic times and stick around. I just didn?t think the other reviews of this store were very realistic. I think this store has a ways to go to be a huge success.
