Review content:
Having grown up in the area I used to eat at Periwinkles quite a bit, but last Sunday was my first visit in about five years. The beer, wine, and cocktail list was decent, and the pomegranate martinis were yummy. The chowder and honey jalapeno rib appetizer was above average. However, we ran into trouble with the entrees. The fisherman's platter was overcooked, the seafood linguine was bland. The chicken periwinkle and the steak tips were just satisfactory. And everything was way overpriced for the quality. I recommend the Blue Marlin down the road over Periwinkles any day! Pros: Nice views/setting, pomegranate martinis, chowder Cons: overpriced, average entrees
