Primavera is a prime choice to dine at and reasonably priced. From the moment my family and I walked in we were promptly greeted at the front desk by the manager and then seated in a cozy booth. The waitress seemed very personable and she got our drinks right away. When she came back to the table, my mother had a few questions about the menu, which she answered very politely and had some good recommendations on what entrees to choose. We started off with a fried calamari which was just crispy enough and Mamma's piatto misto which was one the best antipastos I've had. In my opinion, it was better than some of the antipastos I've tried in the North End! For dinner I ordered the shrimp with Mamma's handmade lobster ravioli, which were delicious. My mother ordered the veal rustica with wild mushroom ravioli. The demi glaze was so good my mother asked how the chef prepares it. Unfortunately it's not the type of sauce that can be made easily at home. My husband ordered the cowboy steak which was cooked medium rare, just how he wanted it. We all enjoyed our dinner and were too stuffed to eat dessert. But the waitress did come over with a variety of delicious looking choices on a tray. Overall, my family and I had a pleasant time at the Primavera and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for good italian food in a relaxed environment.
