I went to see Melina of INNERCURE for one of the prickliest and common problems: weight loss! I'm not a veteran 'new age' believer (crystals, feng shui, etc) so I started out as a skeptic.\r
\r
INNERCURE made a believer out of me. The experience is a good one - doctor's office type waiting room and a very 'spa like' interior where quiet and privacy is assured so one can talk out the issues and the problems underlying them. In my particular case, I learned which behavior patterns and situations were influencing my diet and exercise choices. We also replaced bad choices (say fast food) with good ones (salad, etc). The key is that when these options are internalized, you don't *need* willpower to avoid the bad choices - you just automatically follow the selected options!\r
\r
For those of you who might think that hypnosis is Hollywood-style, think again: no spinning disks, no fanciful suggestions, any of that. Rather, through a combination of relaxation exercises and neuro-linguistic programming you learn what your self-defeating behavior patterns are and how to overcome them.\r
\r
Highest recommendation. Melina is a wonderful person to deal with and the office is easy to get to if you live on the East side of LA or the San Gabriel valley. (Think intersection of 5 and 134).\r
