My cousin and I went to a speed date la event at ivan kane's in hollywood. If you haven't been to ivan kane's - you really have to. It's so different than most every restaurant I have been to and we both really enjoyed ourselves. Checked yes for make-over's for both of us. This part was really cool - I had already come with my make-up on but I really dug the make-up artist. Got some great insider tips which was cool and a little lip liner to set me off. The event was on the patio which with the heaters made it nice and cozy. Drinks were a little expensive but that didn't stop my cousin and I from getting more than a little tipsy. That might of added to the fun I don't know. :-) the event was packed and lots and lots of fun. I am an absolute sucker for accents so I couldn't get enough of the hosts. My cousin met a guy who she really liked. He came with a friend who liked me, but even with said tipsy, he was kept far away from the fancy a go column on the score card. I would totally do it again.
Pros: swanky joints
Cons: expensive swanky joints :-(
