It goes like this. I have never been speed dating (I'm sure everyone says that) and dug the offerings. I checked out an event in LA at a place called Makai. It's right on the beach which was cool. Everything just went smooth. I arrived, met the hosts, talked to them a bit and then we were off and running. There were a couple of more guys than gals but it wasn't a biggie. In the middle they stopped and came by with food which was a great plus cause after all the talking - I was seriously hungry. After the event you can stay, which I did, and hang out which was fun. I would say about half stayed and that was actually the best part. We could talk about this crazy thing called speed dating and gave us a chance to connect more. I don't know what other companies are like but I know I liked this one, so why bother. \r
