I signed up for speed dating. I received no official confirmation from the company besides my paypal transaction confirmation. I happened to email them quickly after I paid for the service in which they replied quickly, however, i never received an official confirmation. I was also told in that first email the following day to expect an email confirming my spot. I paid tuesday for a Thursday event. On Wednesday night, when I still received NO confirmation, I emailed them to make sure my friends and my spot were reserved. Coincidentally a few minutes after I sent that email, I received my very informal ""confirmation"". Come Thursday morning I get an email sent to me and my 4 other friends that our event is CANCELED. Same day. They want to reschedule us, however, we were not able to reschedule and just wanted a refund. They denied my request for a refund several times. They avoided phone calls from my party, yet, were capable of wasting my morning with over 20 emails back and forth. They claim in their terms & conditions (at the bottom of their page in very small print) that it states ""No refunds issued. All sales final."" However, when you pay for this service, no where does it direct you to read and accept their terms. Nor does it tell you that THEY CAN CANCEL ON YOU AT THEIR OWN WILL and NOT ISSUE YOUR REFUND. Basically, they are holding all the power over your money and there is absolutely no protection for the buyer, Their emails were completely caddy and unprofessional. Even the paypal customer representative that I spoke with mentioned their poor customer service. I highly suggest you go with another company. It has been an awful experience and I am still in the middle of trying to get the $180 that my friends and I spent back.
