Review content:
If you care about your pet- DO NOT take them to this horrible place! I would post pictures of the injuries that my dog received while boarded at Dalton's but I don't see a place to do so. I had taken my dog to Dalton's for daycare and trusted them to provide quality weekend care for my baby while I was away at a wedding. When I picked him up, not only was he frightened and agitated- both of his elbows were swollen to the size of a golf ball and he had open sores on both of them. I demanded to see where he was kept the past two nights and was shown a small kennel with a wet cement floor with a ""bed"" in it. This ""bed"" consisted of a semi-hard piece of plastic coating (almost like plastic canvas) stretched over PVC piping that was not only too small for my dog, but took up almost the entire floor of the kennel he was in so that that was the only thing for him to lay on. There was no soft bedding, nothing. I don't know if the swellings are from infections from the open sores or joint issues from where he was kept. When I complained, Dorothy Dalton herself refused to investigate her facilities to make them better for the next patron and defended her kennel. Quite rudely I might add. Her manager actually told me not to ""get pis@* with her"" when I originally expressed my frustration at picking my dog up in this terrible condition. Again, I have pictures and I wish that I could post them here to show you. I feel horrible for making my dog sleep in such a terrible place for two nights. Please- never take your pet to this awful place. Pros: None- it is not a safe place for pets
