Review content:
I beg to differ. Our 1.5 yr old weim has been to different doggie day care locations and we have been extremely happy with Dalton's. I have never seen ""Large amounts of poop"" in the past year. Maybe one or two a month, but please, don't exaggerate.\r Price is actually the same, if not lower than other places. This is a kennel style boarding so if your dog has not been w/o you in the past then yes, they may suffer from various types of separation anxiety (which, from the sound of it, it may have some anxiety issues to begin with). You might want to consider non-kennel boarding in the future if you want a more ""comfort of home"" environment. Dalton's does not charge ridiculous fees for the things they already include, unlike other facilities in Sudbury and other towns. Feel free to try places that charge additional fees for extra one on one time with your dog, special treats, bigger kennel, or extra outdoor time.\r While not everyone may be the dog whisperer or have a background in dog psychology, the ladies at Dalton's love being with the dogs and know their personalities. To me, that is more important than landscaping. With 30+ dogs barking, some are not responsive to basic training commands/corrections.\r I can verify that they do sanitize each day since I see them cleaning when I pick up my dog at 4:30pm.\r I actually feel that the team there does not get praised or thanked enough. Knowing that our dog is extremely happy, receives the proper exercise and stimulation while under watchful eyes is what is important. Perhaps you need to address the anxiety/behavioral issues your dog is dealing with. Anyhow, it sounds more like you are personally attacking vs. judging the facility for what they actually provide.\r With regard to the weight loss, if she would not eat, could it be possible that there is an underlying health issue or something parasitic? I'm sure the staff would have noticed that your dog was not eating or lost half their weight as they are all dog owners and very caring individuals themselves. \r As a daycare customer, we are very pleased with their service and are looking forward to bringing our 2nd puppy to them in the next 2 weeks. This from a couple who are IT Professionals, parents, and in the local area who have tried 4 other Doggie Day Care locations in the area and can truly compare from many different perspectives and most importantly, have an open mind\r Pros: plenty of yard space, they care about the dogs Cons: Can I use them to watch my child too? j/k
