Review content:
I go to Taverna Kyclades often for their awesome food. The meats and fishes are fresh and cooked in a healthy manner. The portions are huge. The staff is great. The environment is very Greek. This is one of my favorite places in all of New York; you'll have trouble finding better taverna style Greek food. I had friends come in from out of town, and they couldn't get enough of the place. The only down side, which comes with any plce with such quality, is that at nights you may have to wait a little while. Only because people love going so much. But then again, the staff makes the wait worth it by treating everyone who's waiting to free glasses of wine. They often bring out complimentary dessert after your meal as well.\r Another thing you may find to be either good or bad, is that there are somewhat long periods between drinks, appetizers, meal, dessert and check. Being Greek, I can tell you that's a very Greek thing. Greeks like to savor their meals, and make dinners with friends big events; hence, no rush. But some people may just want to get in, eat and get out. It's more relaxed place than that. Overall, an amazing place. Pros: Great food, Great prices, Great staff Cons: Long wait Thursday-Saturday nights
