this was a very elementary dance school in which the teachers have no good outside experience because they go through a ""teacher training program"". the director brainwashes all the ""dancers"" (if you can call the students that) by bringing them to horrible, unknown of, brand new dance competitions. therefore they win almost everything and they think they are amazing but in reality, they are not. also many normal dance moves are considered tricks and any sort of toe work, at all, will ""hurt your feet"". newsflash, 8 year old dancers can do toe stands, toe ups, whatever you want to call it and their feet are perfectly ok! and lastly they have specific levels and you are to learn basic dance moves only at a certain level..11 year olds are only learning how to do double turns, if that.\r
i would just say yes, to learn basic moves you can go here, but once you start to out grow it, or if you are a serious dancer, LEAVE!!!!
