Review content:
I had heard some decent reviews from this gymnastics place in Morro Bay, so we tried it out today. I'm not sure if the owner was just in a bad mood or what. First she kept telling us that we had been there before for a free trial, which was true but it had been 3 years ago. My daughter had gone there twice last year through PAID field trips from her pre-school. When I told her that I had already explain all of this to the person that called me back from her shop, she quit. Honestly, she didn't seem to want to be around any kids and her manners were very harsh. At one point she was showing my 5 and half year old daughter how to do a cartwheel & she squeezed her too hard. When my daughter told her this, she ignored her, looked over to me & angrily said to me ""in gymnastics we have to show them how to do things"". I hadn't done or said anything. When she roughly grabbed my daugter & forced her to do another cartwheel, my daughter pulled away & ran to me. She told me she didn't want to do this anymore & that the teacher hurt her. So I told my daughter it was alright if didn't want to do it anymore. We decided to leave. I went over & told the owner ""I'm sorry but we will be leaving"". She said it was alright, but as I was walking to the door, she yells out loudly & sarcastically for all the other parents and kids to hear ""Well, that's a first! Whatever!"" Let's just say I'm not going back ever. I wouldn't trust this women with any child ever. Please don't leave your kids in that studio alone.
As a side note, I just want to say that I had my daughter signed up at Central Coast Gymnastics since she was 9 months old until she was 2.5 years old. Once she started pre-school she no longer wanted to continue, but we never had one bad thing to say about CCG. My daughter wanted to start gymnastics again, so I thought why not try it out closer to home. I guess that was a mistake.
