As a business owner I have a responsibility to my clients and to my loyal employees. That being to try and provide the best care for their pets and to provide my employees with the best opportunity to succeed in providing that care. With that said, cost for procedures can be expensive when pre-op bloodwork, pain meds, and operating room monitoring devices are requested. We do offer barebone surgery prices but I don't recommend that for the optimum safety for their pets(nor for my own pets).I won't keep employees that can't meet my standards.Yes I can be hard on them but I hope my clients understand that I don't want someone not fully committed to the best care for their pet.If that makes me mean letting them go then so be it.I will and have never hit an animal in all my years in practice and if someone accuses me of such it is probably an unhappy ex employee looking to extract some payback for letting them go.I have 6 employees who have been with me full time between 2-7yrs.I am thrilled they have been here to help me help all my clients' pets.Their level of caring is what this hospital is all about!Feel free to ask any present employee about our hospital and me Dr.Black
