We rented the black hummer for our daughters wedding. I should have realized their was a problem when I rec'd a call from the asst. mgr. ""Alfred"" asking if we could pay the balance in cash, when the limo arrived. But, hind sight IS 20/20 vision. The limo came to hotel to pick up the guys, came back to pick up the girls. Waited until the wedding was over then delivered all 20 to the reception. It was at the reception, I found out that there was NO air condition in the limo. It was 105 degrees in Stockton on this day. My daughter, as well as the other wedding attendants, were burning up, sweaty, and just miserable. It was a 20 minute ride of NO air and NO music, and NO windows to roll down. We cooled everyone down with drinks and enjoyed the rest of the day. I called Paul Singh the owner and Alfred the Asst. and explained I would expect a partial refund, something fair and equitable to compensate for the discomfort of all 20 young adults for the lack of air condition. The following are the lame excuses they gave me. Alfred explained 1) If there was a problem, I should have called him @ that moment so he could send someone out. 2) Why did I wait to call days later? 3) Did they ask to have, the air turned on? 4) I told you it was in the shop. 5) I gave you such a good deal. Paul the owners response: 1) We don't give refunds 2) You should have called us immediatley. 3) Talk to Alfred. I then informed Paul from Singh Limo & Alfred, I gave them the opportunity to make ""right"" a ""wrong"", I was NOT asking for a full refund only a partial refund, something fair and equitable. And if the were not willing to work it out, I would take them to small claims court. They said ""do it."" I said ""okay"". Now, this is not about money, it is now about principal. My advice to all...go somewhere else for a limo, EVEN if you have to pay a little more. Be smarter and learn from our experience.
