I've had many experiences smogging vehicles in California and have dreaded getting it done each time until I was referred to this station by another garage who was ""too busy"" to handle a quick smog test. THANK YOU BOND'S AUTOMOTIVE FOR THE REFERRAL!!! Long story short, I have the kind of job that isn't very lenient when it comes to taking time off during the week, so the weekends are all I have to work with. (...which also seems to be everyone else's problem in San Diego so we're all fighting to do these things at the SAME time.) I went to this place on a Saturday morning around 10:00 am and there was no wait. There was no one waiting before me so they got me right in. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The building and wait area was clean and air conditioned. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes and the smog test only cost me $39.95. (Regular rate, no special discount) I was very impressed with the customer service I received here. \r

I hope this shop is still around when it's time for our next smog. Good customer service is falling by the wayside here in San Diego. I hate having to pay more money for crappy service. The last smog station I used charged me almost $65.00 and had those of us waiting sit out in a hot parking lot in $5.00 plastic lawn chairs next to a busy street in the blazing sun. Top that off with severe attitude problems of the staff....\r
Normally, I would have left under those circumstances, but EVERY place I went to that Saturday had a ton of people trying to get smogged or they weren't doing smog tests because their garages were backed up for repair work. Too bad I didn't know about this place sooner....\r

Pros: Open Saturdays
Cons: Might have parking issues if all the surrounding garages are open during the week...
