My friend Pam who was not admitted with a psychiatric diagnosis...was tied to her bed...I called her as I do daily...She could not reach her cell phone because her hands were tied...She has been 'put there' because she injured herself in a fall...Aetna insurance approved this place...which is over fifty miles from her home...She is alone...no friends in the area...Her husband who can afford to have her closer to home has gone along with his insurance and ""left her there""...ahgainst her wishes to come home...now she is being tied up...
