Review content:
Came upon a wonderful new find in Ridgewood recently. The town has been getting a bad rap for its long list of eateries with only a few stand outs, but Bazzini is a field leader. We had dinner(2) on a Friday without a reservation, we were warmly welcomed & seated at a choice table. The menu was creative and full of tempting choices which were clearly explained and described. Service was friendly & professional, adding a note of genuine hospitality. You felt like you went to a good friend's house for dinner. The food was excellent ang beautifully plated(and large portions as well) Apps are split onto individual plates for each diner to enjoy. The ambience was soothing and romantic, with lots of candles, terrific music and overall beautiful decor. We had a wonderful evening and have gone back many times and have always been thrilled. The owner is also the Chef & he is always around to greet, talk food & such and just make sure everyone is happy & and at home. One of the best anywhere in our opinion. Prices are moderate and very fairly priced for such a high level of food, size and presentation.
Pros: value and general feeling that everyone cares about you
Cons: Ridgewood is street parking and difficult at times
