I ate at da Francesco last Tuesday. The food was exceptional and I do not say that too often. Since da Francesco uses organic healthy ingredients in their dishes I expected the food to be healthy but not necessarily delicious. For my appetizer I had the frutta di mare, highly recommended very tasty. For my main course I ordered the milano pizza which is made with whole grain crust and is topped with mushrooms, goat cheese and arugula. I have eaten whole grain crust pizza before and it has always been so, so a compromise from regular pizza. Not so with this crust, thiis was one of the best pizza's I have eaten in a long time. I also ate the tiramisu for desert which to my delight was the best tiramisu I have had and I have eaten tiramisu all over the world. My friend had the rucola salad and the chicken Milanese, both were terrific. The service was great our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about the food. The prices were also extremely reasonable. I would highly recomend da Francesco to my friends. A very enjoyable experience. I can't wait to go back and try the colazione pizza, I saw someone else order it and it looked amazing.
