Review content:
Without out a doubt the *** WORST **** experience in my 48 years of medical and or dental care. I only used this provider because he was listed as an ?In network? doc with United Healthcare. I should have done my homework and gone with my gut feeling after meeting Dr. Bottenbley for consultation for the removal of wisdom teeth for my 18 year old son. Bedside manner was horrific, procedure was just okay, and billing has been a total nightmare. Matilda is the office manager, is Dr. Bottenbley?s wife and the ** rudest and most unprofessional person *** I have ever encountered. The entire procedure was miscoded resulting in United Healthcare repeatedly asking for corrected claims. It has been over 2 YEARS since this nightmare began, Matilda does NOT return phone calls to either myself or the resolution team at United Healthcare as we attempt to resolve this issue. Her solution was to turn the bill with late charges, fees and collections charges over to a collection agency. My son is now an enlistee in the US ARMY and serving in Afghanistan. He?s hardly in a position to defend his bill half way around the world. \r \r *** WARNING *** ? there are plenty of ethical, professional and compassionate practices out there?. Don?t settle for this quack of a practice because they are listed in your benefits list of provider. I have filed a complaint with United Healthcare Provider Relations with the hope that no one else will experience this same nightmare. Cons: Everything about Dr Bottenbley and his practice.
