Review content:
We have been customers of the Oregano's in Scottsdale since it opened. We recently we staying at our second home near Flagstaff and wanted to dine at the Oregano near NAU.\r \r We had called ahead to ask for a reservation but they don't take them at all. We arrived more than an hour before closing time on a Friday night. It wasn't busy because school was still out and it wasn't a holiday weekend. It was my husband, my 3 kids (11, 9 &7) & myself, there was no one else waiting ahead of us. A very pregnant waitress said someone would be right with us. We had to wait at least 10 minutes just for one of the staff to take our name to wait. A couple of groups of 2 or 3 came in and were seated right away. We had waited almost 40 minutes and when my husband found the manager (a very rude blonde with a hairstyle she selected in the 1970's and hadn't changed since) and asked how much longer. She told him, ""as soon as one is available - very rudely and didn't even look my husband in the face. Almost an hour had gone by and we had thought about leaving but didn't want to start the ""waiting process"" over at another place. We saw at least 7 customers leave all at one time. Two of the servers asked us if we wanted to sit at the bar, we were going to at first but then I asked what about the tables that just opened up? They all looked confused and tired. Finally one of the other servers told us to come to the back patio.\r \r If it wasn't for our waitress, Kiera, she was friendly, efficient and got our order to us as soon as she was able. In the long time we were waiting for our food we saw that the 3 other groups they had sat before us had all been served before us.\r \r We had the Southwest Signature. It is similar to their original version we used to enjoy starting around 11 years ago called the Pizza D'Mexico. It was pretty good.\r My sons each had a bowl of the kids pasta. My daugter (age 7) had the kids pizza. It is one big slice that you cut up to eat. She was too tired to eat by the time that she received her food.\r \r If you go to this location, I hope that you are not starving, have small children with you or have any place to be for a few hours.
