Review content:
I hired this firm when we discovered red oak hardwood under our old, dirty carpet. Uptown worked with us on scheduling, since we lived in the house throughout the project. They did half of the house one week, giving us time to clean up the fine wood dust on EVERY surface; then helped move the furniture to the done side to do the next half of the house. A few minor dings moving the furniture, but amazed they were able to sand out even 25-year-old pet stains from the animals of the previous owner. The oak looks amazing.
Pros: existing hardwood floors look fabulous
Cons: dust everywhere...but that's impossible to avoid
