I have lived in the area for over 20 years and until recieving a coupon from a friend I had never eaten at Ron's. We were very pleasantly surprised to find a warm, friendly restaurant with great food. The menu is large and varied. Great burgers made with fresh beef and very ample portions. This is not a pretentious chain restaurant but a down right great place to eat. There is lots of parking for anyone with a large RV or truck. This is a local business owned by the same family since 1963. While the building is old, the place is clean and the food is wonderful. I was surprised to know that Ron's is open for dinner too. Great meals at really low prices. We came back with friends after our first visit and had dinner and it was also great. If you haven't visited Ron's then do yourself a favor and go. They serve great breakfasts all day and offer salads and homemade soups. The Clam Chowder on Friday was some of the best I have had. Yes, you can actually get a full dinner with soup or salad for around $8.50 or less.. Most menu items are less than $7. When we left we recieved another coupon for our next visit. The coupon expires June 30th 2009, so if you want an even better deal than their already great prices, now is the time to go to Ron's. You will be glad you did. Forget the chains and go have some real food!
