Review content:
We started bringing our puppy to Hillcrest because it was very close. The nurses have been wonderful, and have gone out of their way to answer any questions, but the doctor has been horribly rude everytime. We have had dogs our whole lives, and have never seen a vet with such little interest in a dog. \r
\r
She does not have any people skills- she accused us of neglecting our dog because we don't go home during our lunch breaks to play with her, and lectured us when she lost a puppy tooth playing tug of war. \r
\r
After our last visit we question her animal skills. Not only did she give our dog 4 shots without so much as a 'good girl', treat, or pat on the head- she yelled at her for sniffing her hand, and left the room as I was asking her a question. She didn't once interact with our dog, and made us feel like we were bothering her by coming in. \r
\r
If you have a question that a nurse can answer I would feel comfortable calling, but I would not reccomend making this your regular vet. While we don't doubt our dog has received good medical treatment, we feel horrible every time we leave her office.
Pros: The hours are flexible, the nurse staff is very nice, reasonably priced
Cons: The doctor is not friendly, with you or your dog.
