Where do I begin? I attended law school in Lansing for two semesters and transfered. Having been a member at many gyms, I know that most will try to keep your membership going as long as possible, so I requested and obtained a hand written note from the gym manager saying that I could cancel my contract when I moved more than 25 miles from the gym. I made the mistake of providing my debit card for automatic withdraws, but revoked the automatic payments when I found out I was moving. In July I sent in a note saying I would no longer be living in Lansing, as well as my last month's dues. \r \r In November, National Credit Corp, on behalf of Fitness USA, debited my account for 2 months of dues, and in December, 4 times. Merry christmas to me!\r \r I have yet to resolve the issue. Not only has the company left a bad taste in my mouth by lying to my face, they have debited over $200 from my account without my authorization. If you are a member now and plan on cancelling at any point, I would recommend getting a new debit card if they have the info. Pros: eager for you to join Cons: this is a money making venture with sub- par fitness equipment and staff
