Review content:
The crew at Kondo Motors are by far some of the most kind people you will ever find. I went there to get my 01 acura cl type-s serviced, it was the 90,000 mile service. Santa Monica wanted like $550 and i think Kondo charged me something like $470. So I dropped my car off in the morning and was going to take the bus to work (work about 2 miles away) and after they realized I had to walk 4 blocks to the bus stop the owner said he could have one of his guys drop me off! I couldn't believe it! They actually dropped me off at work, which was probably 20 blocks away AND picked me up when I got off. \r
You can't pay for that kind of service and kindness.\r
Also my engine was clunking like a 80's pick up truck, turns out the motor mounts were broken (you're thinking wtf?). Yes, my motor mounts were broken and it was going to cost a over $100 to replace them. Well knowing that I was going to get it done and come home and have my boyfriend tell me that I got ripped off yet again for being a girl in an auto repair shop, I asked them if they could show me exactly where they were broken. Not only did they show me but they wrapped up the old motor mounts and I told me I could take them home to show my boyfriend that they were broken and I didn't get ripped off! \r
He was really surprised at their prices, honesty and all around professionalism too!\r
I would recommend Kondo to anyone who is sick of getting lied to and ripped off by their dealership service center.\r
Pros: location, honesty, customer service, flexability
