Review content:
When my husband and I lived in the Bay Area we would drive to Modesto to go to this restaurant and bring our friends and family. Now we live in Merced and we drive in and bring our friends and family. The food here is excellent - my husband always has the catfish fillets and the cobbler for desert. I vary my choices but generally choose one of the shrimp dishes. Love the beans and the slice of home made bread that comes with the dinner, and the hush puppies are great. When we come with a group, we generally order a couple appetizers of calamari too.
Pros: great food, great people
Cons: parking can be a challenge if it's busy.
