I really was looking forward to being a member of Step up when I first heard about it. It seemed like a great place where women got together and did meaningful things for the community. However, I was very disappointed at the lack of communication by the org.
I paid for my membership and never received a welcome packet or any communication into how to get plugged into the organization. I went to the first meeting and signed up for committees and never heard a word. It seemed like an org established to create shopping events, not community events. And I never received an Orange card, even after requesting it over five times (and being a member for 9 months, still never received it)... most of the time I never even got acknowledgement of my request. Truly I am disappointed with this organization.
