I've been to this place a couple of times over the years but will try to avoid going back. I had a radiator problem this week and Colony was close by, so I took it in. The car needed a NC state inspection, so I asked them to do that as well. They were quick to look at it, which was great. But the estimate for the radiator repair was $175 greater than my usual shop. And Colony found a problem that caused me (in their eyes) to fail the inspection. They also charged a $13 labor fee for doing the inspection, which seems high. Today I took the car to my regular mechanic, who replaced the radiator, and re-inspected the car. He said the problem flagged by Colony was a real problem, but wasn't serious enough to keep the car from passing the inspection. Pros: quick turnaround Cons: overpriced and questionable findings
