Review content:
A friend and I recently strolled into Savvy Cellars to check it out and ended up staying for a shop tour, an eclectic flight of blended reds (what they featuring for their tasting that day-very yum), a plate of artisan cheeses and great conversation. Jennifer, one of the owners introduced herself to us and let us in on their unique theme - they only sell wines that have been rated 90 points or higher (several sources are used as the basis for these scores) and cost under $40! There are user-friendly descriptions posted for every wine available for sale so one can purchase with confidence or at least have a good idea of what they are getting into. The selection represents wines from around the globe but not in an overwhelming way.\r \r The atmosohere is that of a cozy, neighborhood convivial feel and the staff was extremely friendly, professional and knowledgable. They appeared to actually be enjoying their job - imagine that!! No pressure was put on us at all to buy which is nice for a change. \r \r I hear they have a wine club with some great little perks and live jazz - we'll be going back to check this out!\r \r Good times - it will be easy to become regulars here... Pros: atmosphere, nibbles available, interesting selections
