If you're interested in dining at a beautiful little setting, small intimate, romantic dinner on the hill, Bistro 767 is it. The restaurant to my taste did not meet my expectation. The price of the food ranges between $25 to $55 for entrees. The food looked and smelled delicious, but it was just enjoyable. It wasn't anything new or unique, so I was disappointed. Our table ordered a total of 6 entrees and each of them were lackluster to what I'm used to. \r \r Although I do appreciate the fact that it is a restaurant on the Hill, and the food service is much faster than expected. The staff was nice, but they each lacked knowledge of the food and wine, and even their restaurant honours or hours of operation. I took it that they all lacked professionalism. \r \r The bartender created moderately delicious drinks. I will be going back for their drinks before I head a show at the Norris or Regal Theatres, only for two reasons. One, the bartender was fast and consistent with his drinks. Compliments. Secondly, they use only quality alcohol and I appreciate that. \r \r I noticed that every other parties at the restaurant really had a problem with their corkage fee and cake cutting fee. I must agree with the masses that charging that amount they were was pretty horrible on their part. So watch out if you're interested in holding a major party. \r \r My concluding thought is: I like Bistro 767 on the Hill. Pros: Ambiance, drinks, cleaniness, staff, no wait time. Cons: Price, corkage fee, cake cutting fee, lack of knowledge from staff, food is average.
