I was really impressed by Kate. I had my grandmother's wedding dress redone by another tailor and one week before the wedding there were a few things I didn't like about the way it fit. I brought it to Kate, who is, above all else, a really nice and funny person. She looked at it, asked me what I wanted done, suggested some additional alterations, agreed to do both, set a price, and then promised it would be done by Wednesday. Throughout that first appointment she was telling me stories and chatting, I felt like I had met an old friend. I was nervous when I walked into the store but very confident walking out. When I picked my dress up less than one week later, it was perfect. The cost was extremely reasonably, much cheaper than I expected. I wish I had met her earlier, I would take anything to her. She specializes in tailor made dresses and I would definetly have enjoyed the creative process in working with her. I recommend her highly!
Pros: great service, great value, highly recommended
Cons: a bit of a drive outside of the city
