I'm not one to complain, but I felt my experience should be shared with others. My laptop needed repair, so I brought it in on a Friday afternoon and was told that someone would take a look at it on Monday and get back in touch with me. I paid $75 just to have them look at it and asked to please call first with an estimate before doing any repairs. It was Wednesday and I still had not heard back...left numerous messages over the next few days and finally had a return call on Friday (one week after I dropped off the laptop). I was told that a part needed to be replaced and that they ordered the part. Then the next message was that they made a mistake and it wasn't that part at all but something totally different and they ordered the wrong part...but it should be in the next day and someone would call me when it was completed. No repair estimates per my original request. It was ready the next day (only positive mention) and I had to pay an additional $140. I was told that Windows XP had to be reinstalled and that it was normally $160 to reinstall, but they didn't charge me. I'm glad because at that point I could have bought a new laptop. I bring the laptop home, plug it in...and IT HAS THE SAME PROBLEM STILL AS BEFORE plus now the fan won't stop running. Seems like they added problems instead of fixing them. I called to let them know and was told I could bring it back in...I was reassured that I would not have to pay anything additional for them to look at it again. Brought it back in, only for them to finally determine that they could not fix it after all that....AND they wanted to charge me now for the Windows XP reinstallation. I am all about delivering exceptional customer service in my field...and when terrible service is received...others should know about it. Look around first before bringing your equipment here.
