I had recently had a 24x31x10 metal building built and my plans for it was to insulate and panel the inside. I know how metal buildings sweat so fiberglass was not an option. At first I was considering foam board but was really wanting a better R-factor. I figured I would research the different options on the web, that's where I found Prodex. I read all the info on the website and thought that this product would probably work. I'm an electrician by trade and have been on many construction sites (residential, commercial and industrial) but I have never seen this product before so I was a little leary, I like to know if a product works and is worth the price before I buy it only to find out it wasn't what it was suppose to be. Even though all the reviews on the site where favorable I still wasn't quite sure if I wanted to take the risk on a product that I knew very little about. Then I started thinking about instalation and cost, again this is going in a total metal building. The cost for the Prodex is right there with the foam board and it seemed to me the Prodex would be the easiest to install. After I thought about it for a long while (about 2 months) I figured that I would give the Prodex a try. So I placed my order for 4 rolls 2-72' and 2-48"" along with tape and adhiesive. When it arrived I was a little worried about the thickness and how well it would insulate being as thin as it is. I installed the Prodex by myself in about a week working on it after work, it was very easy to handle. I glued it to the back side of the 2 roll up doors to insulate them and it worked perfect! I was very impressed how well the instalation went. I have finished this project now and I can keep this building at 56 degrees with a small 110 volt electric heater when the temp outside is in the low 20's. I hope that it will work just as well in the summer. One thing for sure I believe this product is the best you can get, and if I need to insulate anything else I will be using Prodex!\r
