Sadly, I have had the same hairstyle for almost 20 years now and was more than ready for a change. My dilemma was where do I go to find just the right stylist who would be able to transform me from frumpy to fabulous? Luckily for me, four of my good friends who had amazing cuts and color were going to a stylist named Derrick at Salon Dacota. I decided to take a leap of faith and give it a whirl myself…and boy was I glad that I did! It's only been 3 hours since my cut and already I’ve had 5+ friends and family members rave about how wonderful they think my hair looks! Needless to say, I am all smiles!
In short, this is a salon extraordinaire and then some!! The staff is so professional and friendly. When I arrived, I was offered something to drink, followed by a relaxing shampoo that almost put me to sleep, and a paraffin hand wax to boot! I have to say that this was a wonderful experience from start to finish. On top of the “pampering”, I absolutely loved my stylist Derrick…he is not only amazingly talented but he has a keen eye for what really makes you look and feel your best. The end result was an incredibly modern cut that fit my personality and lifestyle to a tee…super easy to take care of and super fun to have! So, if you are looking for a salon that treats you like a queen (and gives you the look of one as well!) then Salon Dacota is for you!! I can’t wait to go back!!
