Review content:
I have to admit that I waited until after my second appointment to write this review because I wasn't quite sold after my first. I did love the cut, but I found it kinda hard to style, and the color was a little brassy because my hair grabs the red in any hair color. Anyway, I went back right away to get the Eufora hair products -- pricey, but definitely worth it -- and was able to style my hair much better. On my second appointment, Erica was able to get the brass out of my hair, adding pure blond highlights and some low lights, and now I love the color! It's really better than it's ever been, and I actually get compliments on my hair now, which is a first for me.\r
\r
Erica is also terrific with my kids. My five-year-old daughter's new layered haircut is much easier to manage and she now takes pride in brushing it herself! My ten-year-old son, who doesn't like his hair to look too perfect, is happy because it doesn't have that ""just-cut"" look when he leaves the salon. Plus, Erica gives free bang cuts in between appointments!\r
\r
The downside is that I am spending more on my hair than I'm used to spending, but as long as I can afford it (knock on wood), I will continue to go to Erica and Salon Dacota and scrimp somewhere else!\r
